New conversion business, MAR Cooling Solutions which specialises in refrigerated and temperature-controlled vehicle conversions, has officially been launched in the UK today.

The business is already working on large-scale projects, including conversions for vans utilised to deliver COVID-19 vaccines across the country.

The company offers all temperature-controlled conversions including refrigerated panel vans, chill and freezer conversions, as well as line outs for vehicles without a fridge unit, electric refrigerated vehicles as well as additional racking, frames and other specifications.

The work is carried out by experts in the conversion field, who will provide honest, impartial, independent advice and guidance to find solutions to customer requirements.

MAR Cooling Solutions was formed due to the increased need for refrigerated vehicles as home delivery services became the norm for all manner of industry. After working behind the scenes setting up the state-of-the-art facilities in East Sussex at the end of last year, the business has now fully launched into the market and is currently providing services to leading supermarkets, pharmaceutical organisations, fleet management companies and dealerships, as well as SMEs nationwide.
With a highly accomplished management team made up of transport and fleet industry professionals with a combined experience of over 60 years, coupled with conversion experts on the ground completing vehicle alterations, MAR Cooling Solutions has been created to provide quality conversion options to meet customer needs.

Martin James, Chairman of MAR Cooling Solutions says: “I speak for myself and the whole team when I say that we’re extremely proud to be launching MAR Cooling Solutions onto the market. Launching a new business during a global pandemic was always going to have its fair share of challenges, but due to the influx of refrigeration requirements, we are helping more and more businesses reach their customers in these difficult times.

“In the short time since soft launching at the end of 2020, we have already converted vehicles for major pharmaceutical companies, fleet management businesses as well as supermarkets and have even provided conversions to vehicles that have been integral in delivering the COVID-19 vaccine to patients across the country. We are all very proud to be playing a small part in making a difference. Our core conversion team really are experts in their field and we’re hoping to become a reliable supplier to various industries as MAR grows into the future, watch this space!”
