The UK’s Most Versatile Sleeve Pack.

Since its launch almost two years ago, Goplasticpallets.com’s CabCube 1210 9F has been purchased and trialled for storing and distributing a wide range of products across multiple industry sectors, with customer feedback suggesting this could be THE most versatile sleeve pack available on the market.

CabCube In Use
Earlier this year one of the UK’s largest specialist builders’ merchants purchased more than 1300 CabCubes for their pool on behalf of one of their biggest customers – a leading utility network provider for house builders, utility contractors and energy suppliers.

The utility network provider was looking for a solution that would deliver its building materials and equipment safely to the building development, and then return any unused products to the builders’ merchant for reuse. With the previous system they had in place, unused products were being left on site, meaning the utility network provider incurred unnecessary costs.

Using the CabCube sleeve pack, the utility network provider sources its building materials and equipment from the builders’ merchant, who packs them in to the boxes and ships them to the building site ready for collection. On site, the utility network provider’s engineers unpack the CabCubes and any unused products are returned to the builders’ merchant for reuse and also credited back to their account.

Since introducing the CabCube 1210 9F to their supply chain, the utility network provider has reported that their credits have more than covered their initial investment.

CabCube On Trial
Another customer – one of the UK’s leading parcel delivery companies – currently has the CabCube on trial for storing recycled coffee pods that they collect from consumers (who receive a discount for recycling their pods) and return them through their network back to their customer’s recycling centre.

Several other UK delivery companies have also shown considerable interest in the CabCube sleeve pack and are considering them for delivering small packs and parcels in bulk.

CabCube Specification And Benefits
In the last two years, thousands of CabCube 1210 9F sleeve packs have been purchased from Goplasticpallets.com who, with sole UK distribution rights, currently holds more than 400 units in stock.

Comprised of three sections including an injection moulded closed base, a collapsible sleeve and a secure fitted lid, the CabCube offers ultimate security and peace of mind – particularly for customers distributing high value items.
The HDPE pallet base has an open deck and comes on nine curved feet blocks to prevent damage from fork lift trucks. Deep recesses in the pallet base allow quick installation and a fold-down door in the surrounding PP sleeve offers easy and secure loading. The HDPE lid has ergonomic handles for easy positioning and lifting.

The CabCube can hold a maximum volume of 875 litres and a static load of 1500kg or 1000kg in transit. With a total weight of 39kg when assembled, it is approximately 20kg lighter than a traditional thick sided folding pallet box, which aids both manual lifting and can save costs on return journey transportation. As the CabCube folds down neatly when not in use, a standard sized trailer can hold up to 364 units.

Measuring 1200mm (L) x 1000mm (W) x 990mm (H), the CabCube can be customised to offer different sleeve heights and door configurations, if required. Goplasticpallets.com is in discussions with a leading furniture retailer about extending the CabCube for storing and distributing soft furnishings.
